Square Enix needed a presence at E3 that matched the ambition of their franchises. A 100×150 foot space with 68 game demo stations, 12 private conference rooms, two theaters, and a live broadcast booth all fabricated, shipped, and supervised by Greenspace in-house.
E3 is the video game industry's biggest stage. Over 66,000 attendees. Global press. Every major publisher competing for attention under one roof. In that environment, a booth can't just be. It has to perform.
Square Enix came to Greenspace as a client since 2009. For E3 2015, they needed the most ambitious build we'd ever tackled: a 100×150 foot exhibit that functioned as a fully operational multi-zone experience center: sales demos, press interviews, media broadcasts, and private deal-making, all within a footprint the size of a small convention hall.
The challenge wasn't just building something enormous. It was building something that could operate like a television studio, a data center, a movie theater, and a trade show floor all at once, without disrupting E3's notoriously tight logistics windows.
Building a show-stopping E3 presence meant tackling logistics, engineering, and coordination at a scale that pushed every department to its limit.
An exhibit this size doesn't come together by accident. Every element was designed, built, and tested in our Hillsboro facility before a single crate was loaded onto a truck.
Zone-based layout with a central circulation spine. 68 demo stations, 12 meeting rooms, and two theaters designed to coexist without compromising each other's function.
Every wall, every conference room, every demo station was built in our Hillsboro facility first. Square Enix's team walked the space, approved every layout, and signed off before a single piece was packed.
Multiple semi-trailers loaded and dispatched from Oregon to Los Angeles. Coordinated with show management, rigging crews, and the convention center to hit a compressed E3 move-in schedule.
Greenspace's own crew handled every aspect of installation: carpentry, electrical, AV rigging, graphics, and furnishings. No temp labor. No third-party supervision. One team from start to finish.
When you're launching flagship titles at E3, your booth can't just look good—it has to work flawlessly the moment the doors open. Greenspace delivered an environment where our games were the star, and the infrastructure was invisible. That's the mark of a true partner.
From the sweeping exterior to the conference rooms, demo stations, and theater spaces, this exhibit was a destination on the show floor.
When you show up with the industry's most ambitious build, everyone notices: visitors, press, competitors, and partners alike.
From 10×10 inline booths to 100×150 immersive environments, Greenspace delivers at every scale.
In-house fabrication, nationwide service, and years of experience, all under one roof.
